Reverend Brendan Dalton, President/Supervising Principal – Fr. Dalton is currently the pastor at St. Bernadette Parish. He was one of the original and most ardent supporters from the inception of the dream to build a Catholic High School in South Broward. He has served in many other parishes including Visitation, Epiphany, St. Matthews, St. Bartholomew, Sacred Heart and St. Gregory. We thank Fr. Dalton for sharing his ministry and talents with us. Father Brendan Dalton was born in Listowel, County Kerry, Ireland, on September 14, 1944, the first son of Denis and Mona Dalton. He attended primary school in Listowel and later went to high school at St. Clements’s College in Limerick with the Redemptorist Priests. At an early age he had made up his mind to follow in the footsteps of his uncles Father Jimmy Dalton and Father John Dalton, both now deceased. He studied at St. John’s Seminary in Waterford. In addition to his parish and school duties, Fr. Dalton took numerous pilgrimages to the Holy Land, Rome, Assisi, Lourdes and Medjugorje. Stories are told and retold about the healings, conversions and rebirth of faith experiences shared by the many people who shared these journeys with him. We at Archbishop McCarthy thank him for allowing us to share in his ministry and in his life.
