The Entrance Exam (High School Placement Test) is administered to students who wish to enter the ninth grade at Archbishop Edward A. McCarthy High School in August 2022. Catholic high school exam review books are available in most bookstores. Results of the Entrance Exam will be used to determine placement into standard or honors courses.
The full application for admission must be completed and submitted to the Admissions Office at the time of Entrance Exam registration in order for the student to be considered for admission. For students enrolled for the entrance exam, report cards and standardized test scores will be obtained by Archbishop McCarthy through an admissions department request to the student’s current school.
