The Archbishop McCarthy High School Catholic family, Church and School, work together to pass on to the youth the treasures of the Roman Catholic Faith and the “Pearl of Great Price”, which is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Conscious that there is no greater gift that we can pass on to each generation, this is done with a sense of awe-filled duty and permeating joy. Archbishop McCarthy Theological education is an expression of the mission entrusted by Jesus Christ to the Church He founded. Through the Theology Department we seek to give students the academic tools they will need to believe, live, and proclaim the Gospel message. Additionally, through the community ministry program, we seek to supply students with immediate “hands on” opportunities to put this theological knowledge into practice and thus, carry out their Christian vocation.
